Marmiferi

The Marmiferi Collection is the natural artistic outcome of Sergio's innate interest in Biology, and all topics related to the animal kingdom, combined with the beauty of the most candid Statuario marble.

The Marmiferi are magical dreamy creatures. Each one seems to be part of a species on it's own. Some have horns, some have shells, some are absorbing nourishment from beautiful luxurius flowers, some are sleeping and some awake... Some seem to be related to each other, while others are completely different. Are they creatures from the past? Or are they from the future? Where do they come from?

Sergio's Marmiferi are the materialization of timeless lifeforms. They speak to our soul through the language of our childhood, our dreams, our infinite imagination.

New Marmiferi creatures continue to come to life in Sergio’s studio today. Each one is sculpted entirely by hand from the first sketches to the final polishing touch.
